I photographed a very short stretch of a river in the city repeatedly, visiting the same scene over the course of two years. I almost wanted to map the far riverbank in one sweep each time as if the camera was on a movie track. The images range from being moonlight to midday. I hope they convey a murmur of a natural cycle- as much about things not changing as much as they seem to.
