It should come as no surprise that Brighton-based photographer James French should find inspiration on Brighton beach itself. What’s harder to put into words, however, is how he has transformed this most familiar of scenes into something more captivating. There’s an intensity to the colour, a crispness in focus that makes this work truly stand out.
