In part this was meant to be a section within the “Sounds” project, the precursor. I photographed a slow demolition of a block of flats over the course of a month; behind the smoke and dust are rooms that were occupied but deemed socially and architecturally unacceptable to continue. I like the violence in the images and the sense that they are quite abstract almost turning into the images of cosmos clouds.
