Untitled #03, by Glasgow-based photographer Armando Ferrari is another thoughtful and beautifully crafted work from this superb artist. Like other works in this series, Ferrari juxtaposes elegance and natural form with something altogether out of place. But the strength of this work lies in its calm understatement. Elegance and violence are equally subtle and the effect is almost serene. Untitled #03 is provocative, but never in a heavy handed way. It is a play on the relationship between nature and humanity, but without a sermon. Ferrari uses this tension, but allows the viewer to make of it what they will.
